Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren The Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren is an amazing sports car and supercar co-developed by DaimlerChrysler and McLaren Cars. The car's base price is £300,000 or $455,500 (including $2500 shipping and $3000 gas-guzzler tax). According to the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport, September 2006 may mark an update to the SLR including a power increase for its supercharged V8 from 626 to 650 hp DIN (German horsepower numbers), an updated interior, 19-inch wheels, a firmer suspension, a new braking system and increased weight savings.
